Bored? Play Board Games!

Classes were cancelled yet again today because of the transport strike and what better way to spend the day than to stay at home and play some BORED GAMES!

Spotlight : Make ‘N’ Break Extreme

This game is so easy to follow, no complicated rules, just pick right out of the box and start playing.

RULES:

Roll the dice to see how much time you need to set the timer, 1,2,or 3.  Although we skip the timer for the little ones because they say it gives them heart attack.

Draw a game card.  The level of difficulty is shown on the corner of the card, 1,2, or 3.

Arrange the ten multicolored blocks to match the card you have drawn before time runs out.   Kids love this part:  After building the blocks, you get to smash ’em.  Thus called Make ‘N’ Break.

Collect coins based on the level of difficulty.  The most coins win the game.

 

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS GAME:

Promotes spatial visualization, and fine motor skills.  Increases their ability to focus and develops their attention skills.

Variable difficulty levels make this game fun for all ages.

Brings family close together through competitive play.

Most importantly, playing board games are fun ways to unplug ourselves  from gadgets, television, and cell phones every once in awhile.  (both kids and adults are guilty of this.)
